California Women Lead’s mission is to increase the number of women in elected and appointed office at all levels of California government – state, county and city. CA Women Lead is a statewide non-partisan network of citizen, business and government leaders. Successful programs include leadership trainings and workshops, providing tools women need as officeholders, community advocates and policymakers in California. At a time when the number of women in elected and appointed offices in California has been on the decline, it has never been more important to Engage, Empower and Elect women to serve in leadership roles. CA Women Lead’s mission is to raise the number of women in elected office and the 4th Annual Women’s Empowerment Day at the Capitol is one of many CA Women Lead events that  help educate and mobilize women to step up to the leadership platform.
