KCRA has published its 2026 voter guide to the California Lieutenant Governor race, outlining the responsibilities of the office and profiling Fiona Ma and Gloria Romero.
The guide explains that the Lieutenant Governor is next in line to the Governor and serves on key boards overseeing higher education and other statewide responsibilities.
Fiona’s profile highlights her experience as California State Treasurer and her decades of public service. She has said the office should be used actively to help make higher education more affordable, strengthen California’s economy and expand opportunity across the state.
