Fiona Ma joined the California Community Colleges Futures Summit in Santa Clara for a discussion on education, emerging technology and economic mobility.
Fiona joined Board of Governors member Pamela Haynes to discuss the investments, partnerships and policies California needs to prepare students for a rapidly changing economy.
As Lieutenant Governor, Fiona would serve on the governing boards of California’s public higher-education systems. She has said that role should be used to strengthen transfer pathways, align programs with workforce needs and expand access to careers in growing industries.
Her goal is straightforward: education should lead to opportunity, not unnecessary debt or dead ends.
