After 15 years, the historic Slocum House Restaurant in Fair Oaks Village is preparing to reopen following an extensive restoration.
Built in 1924, the Craftsman-style landmark is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Its reopening will introduce a new dining experience and expanded outdoor seating while preserving an important part of the community’s history.
A public grand reopening and ribbon cutting is scheduled for Tuesday, November 3, from 4 to 6 p.m. at 7992 California Avenue in Fair Oaks. Fiona Ma shared the announcement as part of her continued engagement with local communities and small businesses.
