Fiona Ma highlighted the groundbreaking for a new medical dormitory at Camp Conrad Chinnock, a program serving children with Type 1 diabetes in Southern California.
The planned facility will accommodate 16 volunteer medical professionals who provide care at the camp. Organizers say the camp serves more than 700 children annually and relies on donations and volunteer support.
The project will expand the camp’s ability to welcome medical teams and provide children with experiences that foster confidence, independence and community.
