The Los Angeles Times has published its 2026 voter guide to the California Lieutenant Governor race, profiling Fiona Ma and Gloria Romero ahead of the November 3 General Election.
The guide looks at the candidates’ backgrounds, campaign finances and how each would approach the office. It notes Fiona’s experience as California State Treasurer, in the State Assembly, on the State Board of Equalization and on the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.
The Times also examines the Lieutenant Governor’s role on California’s higher-education governing boards and other statewide bodies, where Fiona has said she would use her financial and governing experience to focus on affordability, opportunity and results.
